One of our newly certified members, Mossgiel Farm, have been nominated for the ‘Innovation in Farming Award’ at the Scottish Land & Estates ‘Helping It Happen’ Awards for 2018.

The Scottish Land & Estates ‘Helping it Happen’ campaign highlights how landowners and rural businesses across Scotland play a key role in enabling and supporting success in rural areas.

There are already many instances of this taking place, but SL&E believe that so much more can be done in order to achieve wider benefit to communities, businesses and individual people. They want to make it clear that landowners and land based businesses want to be part of the solution and play an even greater part in a successful Scotland. Opportunities for collaboration and partnership exist in many areas and will help us all achieve things together.

Helping it Happen summarises exactly how estates businesses are involved in projects large and small across Scotland, and will hopefully encourage more activity of this kind.

The winners will be announced at the Awards ceremony which will take place at The Balmoral Hotel, Edinburgh on 3 October 2018.
